Nezura is a Web3 launchpad where creators launch projects, raise funds and engage their communities through missions and rewards. It was a freelance commission: starting from a pitch deck, I was the only designer, responsible for the research, the design system and the complete product design handed over to the team.
Crypto can feel intimidating to anyone outside the ecosystem. Nezura had to work for newcomers and for creators new to Web3.
The challenge
Launchpads tend to rely on technical language, opaque interactions and an implicit level of trust. For newcomers, and for creators coming from outside crypto, that is often reason enough to leave before getting started.
The approach
To differentiate Nezura from other launchpads, we built a lore around the whole product. Storytelling, a simple vocabulary and a visual metaphor for each function turn complex processes into something users can understand at a glance.
Each core function became part of a world that grows and changes with its community.
Fundraising as growth
A fundraise is represented as a seed that grows into a tree as it gets funded. Each fundraise model, traditional, bonding curve and dynamic price, has its own kind of tree, so the model can be recognized before reading any detail.
Missions as terraforming
Missions keep the community engaged, and in Nezura creating one is called terraforming: each new mission visibly changes the project's world, reflecting the work the creator puts into it.
Every project page is composed by its creator, block by block, to reflect the project's identity.
Composable blocks
Creators build their page from optional blocks: text, tokenomics, team members, roadmap, missions and fundraise. A project that doesn't need a team section simply leaves it out, and the page never shows an empty field.
Contextual logic
Each fundraise model works differently, so the available settings adapt to the model selected. Creators only see the options relevant to the raise they are configuring.
An atomic design system, built so features can be added or removed one component at a time.
The system
I designed the product as small parts that compose into larger ones. For the team, that means a feature can be added or removed at any moment by touching a single component, without reworking the whole codebase.
The handover
Nezura was a freelance commission that started from a pitch deck. I delivered the research, the design system, the wireframes and the final designs as one complete product, together with the designs for its future updates.
