Shot in Rome with Phorma for a skincare and make-up brand, this beauty series had to convey the lightness and purity of the product. That led to a high-key approach, on set and in post-production. I handled the lighting and the retouching: high-key skin retouching was one of my specializations. The challenge is a balance: cleaning the skin completely and unifying its tone, while keeping the pores visible and preserving detail in the brightest highlights. The images were used for product imagery, campaigns and packaging.
