The client was a fashion designer who works mainly in silk, and the brief was to show how versatile and light the fabric can be. The looks weren't finished garments: the stylist draped the silk directly on the model on set. As the photographer, I chose to capture the models as they jumped, catching the instant in mid-air when the fabric floats, soft and weightless, as if underwater. After a light retouch, the images were used for the designer's catalog and to promote their exhibition.
